Post Closing Analyst - Contract to Hire opportunity!
Must be onsite for first several weeks of training and will then go hybrid.
- Prefer background in post-closing/loan documentation.
- Previous background in mortgage, banking, title companies.
- Highly proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent growth potential.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct post-closing functions such as loan document audit and loan document scanning.
- Accurately upload documents to Document Management System.
- Coordinate the closing documentation process.
- Perform inventory on a large volume of recorded loan documents.
- Update and maintain various Excel spreadsheets.
- Organize and file loan documents.
- Update procedures when needed.
- Document delivery to custodians.
- Monitor and manage group emails.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Prefer minimum of two years experience with a multifamily mortgage servicer.
- Familiarity with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and HUD loan documents, a plus.
- Experience with Freddie Mac Document Management System (DMS) and Fannie Mae DocWay a plus.
- Experience with the preparation of loan document assignments.
- Possess strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at once.
- Possess a working knowledge of loan documents.
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player to innovate and problem-solve.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Thorough understanding of document retention systems.
