Construction Materials Testing Technician
TSIT team is looking for a full-time Construction Materials Testing Technician for our DFW Office. This is an entry-level position and we will consider applicants with no work experience. Once hired, technicians are expected to pursue and gain necessary certifications within 3 months. Technician must be able to travel to construction sites and take care of company vehicle and equipment at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Field and laboratory testing of construction related materials including soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt;
- Under close supervision of higher level technicians or staff professionals, learn and assist with tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties.
- Work with site inspector and perform job duties in a safe manner.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Communicate with project manager, clients, contractors and technician staff
- Ability to report sample locations effectively
- Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all project and check for equipment calibration
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Construction Materials Testing experience preferred
- Drivers License (Required)
- Current ACI or able to obtain ACI certification within 3 months of hire.
- Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 3 months of hire.

Salary: ($ 13.00 to $ 16.00 / hour)
