Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Medication Aide to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting 1 person with ensuring his comfort and well-being in a supportive environment. Your expertise in patient care will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the individual.
Duties
- Assist with bed changes and be comfort with the process
- Assist with daily living activities, providing support in home care, setting.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of resident information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide support to individual and family regarding health-related matters.
- Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in care.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Qualified Medication Aide or equivalent certifications needed.
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or hospice care, setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and patient boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a home environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care
- Reliable transportation (mandatory for daily errands)

Pay: $22.07 - $23.39 per hour
