Responsibilities:
- Organize, track, and champion the design and development of assigned products.
- Manage multiple complex, high-risk projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and cost requirements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers.
- Develop project objectives and detailed project plans, defining phases and elements.
- Determine project schedules and timelines, sequencing project elements.
- Partner with marketing to define product requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering management to allocate resources and manage external technical resources as needed.
- Monitor project plans, review design changes, and recommend improvements.
- Manage product costs and capital spending, proposing solutions for budget overruns.
- Advocate for the design team and proactively identify and remove roadblocks.
- Drive the resolution of manufacturing, operations, purchasing, technology, and design issues.
- Facilitate activities within the company to support project milestones, track progress, and maintain project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular status reports.
- Establish design qualification, field testing, and production testing plans.
- Coordinate the transfer of new products to production.
- Conduct training for customer service personnel on new products.
- Evaluate project success and drive process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, successfully managing projects, objectives, costs, timelines, and resources.
- Advanced technical knowledge and design experience relevant to the company's core technologies.
- Advanced project management skills and experience leading complex, cross-functional teams and high-risk projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively direct and guide teams.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, organize and manage them, and motivate technical professionals.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, requirements, and timelines.
- Proactive management style and expert-level problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop project documentation and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to articulate a complete product development process from ideation to production.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
Schedule:
