Syneos Health is currently engaged in a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with CSL Behring for an Area Manager, Coagulation Products position.
Responsibilities:
The Area Manager, Coagulation Products is responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and for managing all aspects of territory business development. The Area Manager Coagulation Products (MCP's) will also cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers to include: Health Care Professionals (HCP), hospital decision makers/influencers, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners.
In addition the Area Manager, Coagulation Products will create demand for promoted products while demonstrating strong clinical knowledge. MCP's should demonstrate a high level of business acumen to facilitate the development of new accounts while supporting the growth of existing accounts. Coagulation Product Managers will be expected to support appropriate patient education programs as needed.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:
- Acquire and maintain a level of medical-scientific knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) related to CSL Behring’s products. Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data. Gather and evaluate new information as it applies to CSL Behring’s products and areas of therapeutic interest.
- Identify appropriate regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) with which to develop professional relationships to ensure exchange of medical-scientific information relevant to CSL Behring’s products and areas of therapeutic interest.
- Deliver approved educational programs to relevant healthcare audiences (e.g.HCPs, Managed Care Organizations, Specialty Pharmacies, etc.).
- Provide areas of interest and general high-level information regarding CSL Behring’s Investigator Study(IIS) Program process in response to unsolicited requests. Monitor and communicate progress for those IISs approved and supported.
- Gather, translate, and communicate actionable, strategy-aligned insights from scientific, educational, and conference setting interactions.
- Attend scientific and medical meetings.
- Deliver approved educational programs and training to relevant internal functions.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/life sciences
Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience. Demonstrated history of documented, consistent, successful achievement of sales performance.
- Experience with patient groups, specialty pharmacies and distributors a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate effective management of a large geography desired.
- Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified.
