Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of fence and deck building projects from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and be able to coordinate various tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring safety standards, and ensuring high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Create and verify project sketches, ensuring all measurements and project details are accurate.
- Collaborate with clients and designers to define project requirements and scope.
- Ensure all project files are properly updated with relevant details, specifications, and photos.
- Provide ongoing support and direction to the project team to ensure successful completion.
- Monitor the progress of each project to ensure work meets industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies, issues, or delays promptly and efficiently.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients from project initiation through to completion.
- Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations, provide progress updates, and address concerns.
- Handle client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a professional, timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce company safety protocols and ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and building codes.
- Proactively address any safety concerns or violations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, specifically in fence and deck building.
- Proven ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Applicants must meet the legal driving age requirements and hold a valid driver’s license for operating company vehicles.
