Required Skills : Clinical and / or minimal 3 years of Pharma industry or agency experienceCardiovascular and Heart Failure / HCM disease landscape knowledge preferredStrong ability to evaluate scientific data and medical literaturePrior promotional review experience requiredUnderstanding of the US Healthcare system, the pharmaceutical industry and clinical and health economic practices in the US is requiredMicrosoft Office (Excel, PPT) skills requiredAdvanced Medical / Biology degree (MS, PhD, PharmD)
Work Location : Princeton NJ
Pay : $70-71 / hour W2
Responsibilities : The primary responsibility is to support the strategic review of promotional materials from a medical lensAdditional responsibilities will include support of proactive field medical content and congress executionMaintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources and dataContributes strong medical advice for interdisciplinary meetings and related initiatives including promotional review, disease / brand and launch planning, labeling changes, business reviews, etc.Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies and tactics to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy and appropriateness of the content of the materials / activities in accordance with relevant guidanceProactively align and build strong relationships with commercial and other advisors / stakeholders on issues or concerns in promotional reviewAbility to demonstrate leadership within the medical promotional review community of practice, to help drive best practices aligned with strategic imperativesParticipates in initiatives aimed at process improvements related to core medical promotional review activitiesDetermine acceptability of data / references used to support promotional claims and provide strong guidance as well as effective negotiation leading to resolution for piecesEnsures awareness of current trends within the industry and promotes the sharing of best practices across the Medical Promotional Review Teams
