What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst I position at TSSCANDIDATEPORTAL?
TSS is seeking onsite financial support for the U.S. House of Representatives CAO Office of Acquisitions Management in the O’Neill House Office Building to provide a range of administrative services for the House.
Facilitate process improvements, budget formulation, submission, execution, analysis, and tracking of organizational procurement plans.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Provide data-driven metrics for budget projections.
Perform financial forecasting, cost analysis, and account reconciliation.
Minimum 1 year experience in automated financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Follow guidelines for protecting confidential information.
Perform a variety of tasks as assigned.
The ability to effectively communicate in English through strong oral and written skills.
Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to multi-task, in a high paced environment.
Must be able to follow directions, and function effectively as part of a team or independently.
Knowledge of and experience in the legislative environment, U.S. House of Representatives (USHOR) is beneficial.
Requirements:
1 years of experience in the financial field such as accounting, finance, or budgeting
Education requirement: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1 year of experience in the financial field such as accounting, finance, or budgeting.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with high-profile customers (Members of Congress and staff).
