Regional Supply Chain Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Supply Chain Director to oversee and improve the supply chain and procurement functions across our regional manufacturing plants in Cumming, GA, Erwin, TN, and Mountain City, TN. This leadership role will be critical in optimizing our operations, driving efficiency improvements, and establishing a regional distribution center to streamline processes and enhance service levels to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, manufacturing, process improvement, cost and inventory reduction, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing environments (steel, ceramics, or similar industries preferred).
• SIOP Process Management and Ownership, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Strategy development and execution at a Regional level for a manufacturing company
• Inventory Reduction project experience
• Experience developing supply chain operations in Mexico to support customer operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain optimization, procurement, distribution, and logistics management.
• Self starter who can deal with ambiguity
• Experience with leading complex projects, such as the development and implementation of a regional distribution center.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
• Proficiency in ERP and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). QAD is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires regular travel (~50%) to the three plant locations in Cumming, GA, Erwin, TN, and Mountain City, TN, as well as occasional travel for supplier or industry meetings.
