Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to join our Dallas team for Summer 2025! The job requirements will focus on supporting the Process Engineering Team by documenting and updating procedures, work instructions and visual aids on the production floor. Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to electrical resistance data collection, tracking, correlation to perform analysis and recommend actions to improve equipment and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position requires the ability to create detailed documentation, which includes capturing improvements into a language that is easy for production team members to understand.
- Identify gaps in electrical testing equipment for resistance, voltage and current and create a plan for implementation.
- Collaborate with Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Interns to design a production & reduce electrical measurement failures.
- Evaluate and find root-causes for problems by ensuring proper implementation of controls to prevent them and boost further improvements.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering team members to improve yield.
- Follow all plant safety policies to ensure and enhance a safe working environment.
- Employ competent use of judgment, calculations, and potential use of PSpice®.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Qualifications:
- Experience with the use of Microsoft software package
- Understand the laws and theories that govern electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscope, and source measurement unit.
- Ability to work with soldering equipment.
- Programming in C , C Sharp, etc. are a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must have a positive/can-do attitude.
- Must be a self-starter and require minimum direct supervision.
- Must take ownership of assigned duties and be responsive to needs as they arise in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience
Currently studying Electrical Engineering.
