Mortgage Servicing Agent - Bilingual Preferred

TTCU Federal Credit Union is seeking a passionate and motivated Mortgage Servicing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our members have a seamless experience throughout the life of their mortgage loan. This position involves managing mortgage accounts, processing payments, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional service to our members. You will be part of a dedicated team that values member satisfaction, accuracy, and compliance with mortgage servicing regulations.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Accurately process mortgage payments, including principal, interest, and escrow payments.

• Respond to member inquiries related to their mortgage accounts, providing guidance on payment schedules, loan terms, and other mortgage-related issues.

• Manage escrow accounts for taxes and insurance, ensuring payments are processed timely and correctly.

• Assist with updating mortgage account information, including adjustments to payment plans or loan modifications.

• Ensure that mortgage accounts are in compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.

• Address issues such as missed payments, late fees, or disputes, working with members to resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.

• Educate members on mortgage products, payment options, and loan servicing processes, empowering them to make informed decisions about their mortgages.

• Work closely with the lending, collections, and customer service departments to ensure seamless communication and service for mortgage members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business administration, records management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in records management or a related administrative role, preferably within the financial or credit union industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, especially regarding member privacy and information security.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and records management software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
