Account Manager - Fragrance Industry

Location : West Hollywood, California

Type of Work :   On site

Schedule : 9 A.M. -6 P.M.

Type of Contract : Permanent

Pay Rate :  $75.000 - $80.000

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in the fragrance industry. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, driving sales, and managing key accounts to ensure business growth. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of fragrance trends, market demands, and customer preferences.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute sales strategies to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Perfumers, Marketing, Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs, to deliver optimal client solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging fragrance innovations to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Oversee sample requests, manage briefs, and coordinate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to represent the company and strengthen partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or marketing within the fragrance industry.
  • Strong understanding of fragrance development, product positioning, and customer preferences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing accounts, driving revenue growth, and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (up to 50% travel required).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
