Pay Rate : $21 - $25 / hr
Job Description :
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented IT Help Desk Support professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware / software issues, and ensure seamless IT operations. As the first point of contact for IT-related concerns, your communication skills and problem-solving abilities will play a critical role in maintaining organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to IT help desk requests via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and equipment.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary, while maintaining communication with the end-user.
- Document and track support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring accurate logs of incidents, resolutions, and trends.
- Assist in maintaining and updating IT-related documentation, such as user guides and system configurations.
- Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up user accounts and permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, including basic network troubleshooting, software updates, and system backups.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring users feel supported and informed throughout the troubleshooting process.
Requirements :
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
