Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain case files, including electronic and hard-copy documentation.
- Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, affidavits, and discovery responses.
- Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and judicial decisions.
- Oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas.
- Organize trial materials, including evidence, exhibits, deposition summaries, and pleadings.
- Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Coordinate trial logistics, including setting up remote office operations and liaising with vendors and clients.
- File court documents accurately and efficiently, including electronic filings with relevant administrative agencies.
- Utilize litigation support software and e-discovery databases to streamline document management and case tracking.
- Provide administrative support, including task delegation to department assistants and file clerks.
- Paralegal Certificate/Degree OR a minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Florida and U.S. District Court procedures, e-discovery, and trial preparation.
- Proven ability to manage litigation cases from intake through trial.
- Experience in trial logistics coordination and setting up remote office operations.
- Proficiency in document management systems, e-discovery tools, and litigation support software.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative legal team.
