Pay Rate : $15 / hr - $20 / hr
Job Description :
We are seeking a Permitting and Inspection Clerk to support and streamline the permitting and inspection processes within various municipalities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing documentation efficiently while collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and submit permit applications across multiple municipalities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain and update the permit log , tracking application progress and expiration dates.
- Manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) , ensuring they are up to date and compliant with project requirements.
- Oversee documentation management , organizing and maintaining both hardcopy and digital records for permits, inspections, and related documents.
- Serve as a liaison between contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate a smooth permitting and inspection process.
- Provide administrative support to project managers and other team members related to permit documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving permitting-related issues by coordinating with city officials and relevant departments.
