Description:
We are seeking a Quality Production Specialist to play a critical role in supporting quality assurance operations within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly detail-oriented, and brings proven experience conducting quality evaluations in a technical production setting under general supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review and validation of product non-conformances, disposition types, quality procedures, and engineering requirements.
- Support analysis activities to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes.
- Participate in investigations to determine root causes of nonconformances in plans.
- Gather data and provide recommendations or solutions related to nonconforming plans, products, or processes.
- Assist in the development, modification, and documentation of corrective/preventive actions to assure problem resolution.
- Help secure corrective action on nonconforming hardware or processes and submit findings for review.
- Support alignment and obtain commitments from stakeholders to facilitate program resolution.
- Participate in and observe validation activities to confirm that corrective actions have successfully resolved the nonconformance.
- Verify that internal replication systems meet company and regulatory standards.
- Create aircraft-specific airborne software packages.
- Conduct audits to ensure proper storage and handling of engineering media per requirements.
- Experience in First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AS9102 standard (MUST HAVE).
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Understanding of traceability practices in manufacturing environments.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Aerospace Technology, or Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection or assurance within a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing industries (especially aerospace or defense).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
