Description
The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations by supporting cargo pick-up and delivery assignments, coordinating inventory, and assisting with other logistical tasks. This position combines office work with hands-on responsibilities, including driving a cargo van to meet operational needs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate Shipment Re-icing : Schedule and assign roles in processing shipments.
- Dispatch and Reporting : Print pick-up and delivery reports; assign tasks to drivers.
- Internal Communication : Provide updates to the Miami operations team via email on daily activities.
- Inventory Audits : Perform weekly audits of supplies.
- Driving and Vehicle Maintenance :
Fill in as a driver when needed.
Verify airway bill numbers against delivery records.
