Planview / PowerBI Report Developer
T his team owns the development and business change software including Planview PPM, Jira Cloud / Jira Service Management, Rally, and Momentum. The team is looking for report developer with experience developing PowerBI and SSRS reporting from Planview Portfolios PPM SaaS application . Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst of Enterprise Transformation IT, you will work with the Transformation Office business to design and create / deliver reporting solutions in Planview using PowerBI tiles, SSRS reporting within Planview and PowerBI workspace reports outside the Planview application.
Overview
In this role, you will act as the main interface between technology infrastructure and a specific business / functional area. Incumbents help define business requirements, build application, and process specifications, coordinate with delivery teams, and ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies. Incumbents will be involved in the writing of technical materials / documentation. You will be required to help define requirements with the Transformation Office for C Suite reporting from Planview and develop / deliver those solutions using the appropriate technology (specifically PowerBI primarily and SSRS on occasion)
Role summary and job responsibilities :
Responsible for creating / maintaining system documentation and best practices.
Design, develop, deploy and support reporting solutions for Transformation Office business working with Application Owner and Application Admin and Planview professional services.

Business knowledge :
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Project Management and best practices
You demonstrate knowledge of product / flows within the domain supported
You articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions

Understanding of project management lifecycle from demand management through execution and closure
Requirements
Typically, 5 years in a technical business analysis, system admin, or development role for a project management or change management software
Experience with Planview Project or Agile place developing reporting solutions in PowerBI
Proficient in using Power BI to gather data from sources and create reports
Identify reporting needs and propose solutions
Knows the latest best-of-breed technologies.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences using multiple forms such as verbal and written
Demonstrate proficient understanding in multiple technologies / applications
Identify impacts across teams and coordinate across senior levels to manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities
SQL proficiency intermediate to advanced
solid understanding of how organizations manage work and resources and a thorough understanding of the processes and methodologies supporting organizations management practices.
Preferred Experience :
Experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Rally a plus
Experience building SSRS reporting within Planview
