CDL Heavy Haul Driver

Responsible for driving gasoline or diesel-powered commercially-licensed trucks to transport and deliver construction equipment and materials to and from job sites.Responsibilities :

• Drives truck to the destination and returns
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations (including I.C.C. Regulations)
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip truck inspection reports
• Service and lubricate the engine and other moving parts if needed
• Maintains accurate records on truck lubrication, service, and repairs
• Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors
• Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require
• Work within defined standards of accuracy
• Perform all other duties as assignedRequired Skills or Abilities :
• Valid CDL License
• Clean MVREducation and Experience :
• On-the-job training offered.Physical Requirements :
• Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
