Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Collaborate with medical/dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficiency in computerized scheduling systems and basic office software
- Experience working in a medical office is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
