As the Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Control Nurse (RN), you'll be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating educational programs for nursing services and other departments, and for resident/family education. You'll ensure that staff training and education is complete and in compliance with the current nursing practices, all applicable laws and regulations. You'll participate in committee meetings such as Quality Assurance, Safety Committee, etc. As the Infection Control Nurse (RN) you'll stay up to date on regulations to assure that our residents and staff are maintaining the safest, healthiest environment possible. Assuring that you're detecting, evaluating, recording and reporting infections that originate with facility personnel and residents. Maintain and participate in Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).

What You Need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Current, RN license within the state of WI
- 1 Year of experience as a supervisor in geriatrics, or other comparable long term care experience
- Infection Control certification or the ability to obtain
