Title: Corporate Human Resources Manager
Location: Orange County, CA (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Job Duties:
- At least 10 years’ experience in HR, at least 3 years in a supervisory position
- Experience in mid-size large companies with at least 500 employees
- Able to work with cross functional teams and parent companies
- Must have and demonstrate excellent communication skills: written and spoken
- Will need to be able to communicate with executives and all levels of organization
- Able to do presentations and training
- Good analytical skills. Will need to be able to prepare payroll reports, analyze variances, etc.
- While will not process payroll, will need to be able to back up payroll process 100%
- Good understanding of compensation strategies, methodologies and policies
- Excellent skills in HR Information Systems, preferably ADP, ADP’s functionalities beyond payroll
- Will need to be able to prepare payroll reports, analyze variances
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. Manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations and counseling, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
- Recruiting, interviewing and staffing
- Payroll responsibility: full administration of compensation and benefits administration
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
- Employee orientation, development, and training
- HR policy development and documentation
- HR Information Systems administration and improvement projects
- Employee relations, services and counseling
- Company-wide committee facilitation for major employee and corporate responsibility activities
- Company employee and community involvement
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
- Supervisory Responsibilities (If applicable) Directly supervises up to 5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
