This position will report to the Corporate Controller
Major End Results (Primary Duties):
- Month end closing on time and with accurate reporting of transactions and preparation of Financial Statements.
- Ensure appropriate accounting and management of master financial data
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting, under GAAP and internal policies
- Propose and undertake necessary actions to comply with corporate guidelines
- Ensure tax compliance, manage tax, internal and external audits
- Provide necessary information to Corporate for Risk Management
- Ensure all external audit requirements are delivered timely (e.g., prepare materials, coordinate deadlines)
- Analyze financial situation of the Business and bring recommendations to management
- Prepare Cash Flow to accurately gauge operating performance
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Partner with FP&A, Brand Managers and Operations for monthly Product Line performance reviews.
- Work with cross-functional teams on innovation and cost savings projects
Other Requirements:
- Drive the business to meet business objectives and goals
- Work with manager to solve audit findings from Corporate Controlling
- Development of organizational talent through coaching and training
- CapEx identification and safeguard of assets
- Financial Statements in line with GAAP, accurate and timely statutory reporting under GAAP
- Assure policies and procedures are followed
- Provide financial support in CapEx activities
- Provide feedback and propose alternatives to improve financial results
- Collaborate with functional areas (HR, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
- Support manager with preparation of Monthly actuals and projected cash flows
- Work on implementation of an enhanced REP system, Business Central
- Work on any other projects assigned on ad-hoc basis
- Participate in annual planning, periodic S&OP, quarterly Reforecasts and weekly Flash processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A. in Accounting or an equivalent
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- 5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong work ethic with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises between 1 and 2 Jr. Accountants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance; and 5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
