JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
This role is a key support to the Director of Human Resource. The Human Resource Generalist will provide direct support to the Director of Human Resources in the day- to-day administration, communication, and implementation of human resource activities for the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and resolve ADP discrepancies for employees of all levels.
- Coordinate orientation and complete onboarding with all new hires.
- Responsible for administration of employee benefits programs.
- Assist new hires with new hire paperwork, benefits overview, and HR/Payroll self-service portal overview.
- Create and maintain new hire personnel files.
- Coordinate offboarding process for separations including exit interviews, separation paperwork, etc.
- Assist with the development of training and presentations.
- Support recruiting/talent management efforts for a variety of positions within the company.
- Accurately maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and assists with compiling data from the HRIS.
- Review policies and procedures periodically for compliance and continual improvement.
- Conduct periodic audits of employee records, I-9 records, compensation and data within the HRIS.
- Obtain, verify, and track credentialing for appropriate staff personnel.
- Schedule and Maintain CPR, PPD, credentialing tracking for all staff personnel.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of revised policies/procedures and new company initiatives.
- Provide documentation and data analysis for audits and other inter-department request
- Maintain Human Resources records in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast on current and new legislation and stays abreast on employment law/regulations as it pertains to the Human Resources department.
- Maintain employee information resources: bulletin boards, websites, manuals, etc.
- Filing annual reports (EEO-1, 5500s, etc) in a timely manner.
- Assist with Updating Employee Handbook and personnel policies to comply with employment laws and monitor federal and state law posting requirements.
- Develop SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for the various HR functions.
- Providing excellent and professional service to Tuerk House employees and internal and external stakeholders.
- Understands and manages the Tuerk House strategic goals.
- Communication, Consultation, Ethical Practice, Global & Cultural Awareness, HR Expertise, Relationship Management
- Strong computer, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be sensitive to all employees and maintain strict confidentiality in all employee matters.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and/or four (4) to five (5) years of work experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use entire MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ability to learn in-house software.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of standing and bending.

The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.
