Job Overview Responsible for delivering Epic function educational programs and support to end users. Utilizes current curriculum, lessons, and training materials to conduct Epic and other third-party application training for end users. Collaborate with members of the project and training team to assist in developing and maintain the training program. Hours: Full- Time, Days Location: Lowell, MA Job Description Minimum Qualifications: 1. Associate degree in education, instructional design, a clinical field or related field. 2. One (1) year of credentialed trainer experience OR three (3) years of trainer experience. 3. Valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, a clinical field or related field. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Lead in person workflow base classes for clinical and non-clinical areas as assigned based on credentialing competency. Support educational implementation and facilitates staff education regarding use of the clinical/business operations software applications. Facilitate regular training course offerings serving as the lead instructor or co-instructor. Serve as a workflow subject matter expert (“SME”) for dedicated area(s) of focus. Translate findings from classes, support sessions, and meetings into concise recommendations for educational enhancements, curriculum improvement, system build limitations, and access requirement opportunities. Maintain administrative pre-course and post-course processes. Collaborate with the Epic Principal Trainers to prepare approved materials and meet project timelines. Recommend adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed. Administer competency tests. Respond to user’s needs and collaborate with other training staff to identify and develop appropriate technology solutions for teaching and learning. Responsible for providing curriculum maintenance support including inventory, drafting, formatting, testing, and validation of new materials and enhancement of existing materials. Participate in regular meetings with the Epic Staff Development team and serve as an education representative to support the alignment of planned changes and curriculum. Travel to assigned locations to facilitate training courses or to otherwise meet current business needs of the organization.
