The Endpoint Architect reviews, designs, and manages complex endpoint device infrastructure. This position develops scalable enterprise technology solutions across multiple platforms while collaborating with Tulane’s application and infrastructure teams to understand requirements to develop future systems.
The Endpoint Architect develops relationships with Tulane’s technology partners. This position stays current with the latest vendor updates, technical and functional developments, and innovation opportunities offered by technologies inside and outside of Tulane’s environment. This position conducts cross-team training to strengthen technical skills across the division.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical end-users, technical staff, and IT leadership.
- Knowledge of current and emerging endpoint architecture designs and technologies.
- Ability to design complex, enterprise-level solutions involving all facets of endpoint devices.
- Ability to manage complex endpoint infrastructure and technical strategies across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in ITSM, Endpoint Management, Cybersecurity, Virtualization platforms, Cloud-enabled XaaS service delivery models, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
- Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, JAMF, Azure AD, Windows Autopilot, and Modern Workplace solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoint security.
- Experience with automation (PowerShell, Graph API, Terraform, or Ansible).
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and effectively execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior presentation and negotiation skills.
- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience operating in an Agile project management environment.
- Experience documenting technical designs and business processes using MS Visio or similar software.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
- Ability to perform a cost/benefit analysis of user requirements and proposed technical solutions.
