Job Opportunity: [Full Time] Tire and Alignment Technician
Department: BMW Service Department
Location: 170 Auto Center Road | Manchester, NH 03103
Job Description:
- Performs service and repairs as outlined on estimates, in accordance with the group and manufacturer standards;
- Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle and without damaging either;
- Re-secure all related parts once alignment is finished;
- Completes test drives before and after service as required;
- Properly drive vehicles and secure vehicles on lift to ensure safe operations;
- Ensures vehicles being repaired are kept clean and no incidental damages occur;
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain or order needed parts;
- Documents all work and results of tests performed on the repair order in a legible manner;
- Saves and tags defective parts of the job if required by warranty policy or if customer has requested return of defective parts;
- Abides by the safety procedures outlined in the safety plan;
- Operates service equipment safely and reports maintenance needs, defects or other hazards promptly;
- Handles hazardous waste according to group policies and procedures;
- Employee must be onsite to perform duties;
- Performs other related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License Maintained;
- Driving record must meet criteria set by the group and liability insurance carrier;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task;
- Excellent time management skill;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
