- Job Summary
Implement programs and initiatives to facilitate student success via tutoring or embedded classroom support. Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring. Primary responsibilities include tutoring students in the World Language Lab, collaborating with faculty, tutoring services and various student support services at TCC, and serving as the point of contact in the world language lab.
- Essential Duties
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to TCC students.
Facilitate student success strategies in world languages courses through embedded classroom support.
Manage day-to-day front desk support in the world language lab.
- Minimum Qualifications
1 year certificate or training from college or technical school of education or courses in world languages, specifically Japanese, French, ASL, and/or Spanish.
Bi-Lingual in English and either French, Spanish, or ASL.
Ability to teach Spanish, French, Japanese or ASL.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent education preferred associates degree in world languages. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Experience with learning management systems to track and assess student performance.
