Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LMHP-R or S in Virginia to join our team. As an LCSW, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and facilitate group therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide mental health counseling using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote healing and support among clients.
- Engage in crisis management to address immediate client needs and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case notes in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support systems.
- Stay informed about best practices in behavioral therapy and mental health counseling through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings is preferred, with a strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including group therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously are necessary for success in this role.
