Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will provide mental health counseling and support to individuals in need. Your role will involve utilizing various therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients manage their mental health conditions and improve their overall well-being.
Job Description: Mobile Crisis Response services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide for rapid response, assessment and early intervention to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Services are deployed in real-time to the location of the individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The purpose of this service is to i) de-escalate the behavioral health crisis and prevent harm to the individual or others; ii) assist in the prevention of an individual’s acute exacerbation of symptoms; iii) development of an immediate plan to maintain safety; and iv) coordination of care and linking to appropriate treatment services to meet the needs of the individual. The service is approved for 8 hours (32 units).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology, and crisis intervention
- Offer counseling and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families
- Assist clients in managing symptoms of PTSD and other trauma-related disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate resources and services
- Provide education and guidance to clients on coping strategies, stress management, and self-care techniques
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on mental health treatment
- Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to treatment outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Job Requirements: You must be a registered LMHP,LPC, LCSW, LMHP-R, LMHP-RP or LMHP-S. Additionally, you will need to complete the required DBHDS approved mobile crisis training.
