We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Lead to take charge of our marketing efforts in collaboration with our sales team and founders. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. The ideal candidate is an outdoor enthusiast with a proven track record of successful marketing initiatives in the outdoor industry or consumer products sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on product launches, brand positioning, and market expansion.
  • Brand Management : Maintain and evolve Tune Outdoor’s brand identity, ensuring consistency and high standards across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Digital Marketing : Oversee digital initiatives, including website management, SEO / SEM, social media, email campaigns, and paid advertising to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Content Creation & Management : Develop compelling content that resonates with our audience, highlighting our brand, products, and community.
  • Market Research & Analytics : Conduct research to understand trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Go-To-Market Planning : Provide support in planning and executing go-to-market (GTM) activities, including strategy development, copywriting, photography, and videography.
  • Campaign Development : Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Event & Partnership Management : Collaborate with the Sales Lead to plan and execute trade shows, pop-ups, and expos. Develop impactful point-of-sale materials that elevate brand presence.
  • Budget & Performance Tracking : Manage the marketing budget, track ROI, and optimize strategies based on performance data.
  • Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with sales, product, and design teams to align marketing efforts and achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Engagement : Welcome and assist potential customers and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Provide support at expos, trade shows, and pop-up events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the outdoor industry and / or consumer products.
  • HubSpot Marketing / Content Hub experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing and optimizing marketing performance.
  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling and brand-building abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
  • Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noise
