What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Analyst I/II position at Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools?
Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent of Business Services, performs professional level accounting work utilizing networked computer systems; provides a basis for sound operational and financial planning through financial review and analysis, monitoring, reconciliation, and maintenance of district funds; assists in the organization, development, and compilation of a variety of materials for use in the County Office; assist in budget preparation process and assist in the preparation of fiscal reports; prepares budget information and reports in relation to labor negotiations; perform other budgetary, accounting, audit, and other related duties assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services. Fiscal Analyst II performs all of the Analyst I including complex specialized accounting work in support of multiple countywide or very large programs.
• Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or two years of accounting experience, Fiscal Analyst II, Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or 4 years account experience.
• Public school experience and some supervisory responsibilities are desirable.
• Application of data processing to accounting transactions is desirable.
• Experience with Standardized Account Code Structure and Principal Apportionment Software is desirable.
