What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician - Billing Coordinator position at Turenne PharMedCo?
Join our dedicated and conscientious pharmacy billing team serving the post-acute healthcare industry. Our customers include skilled nursing, assisted living, and mental health facilities and other congregant environments. You will be an essential link in the chain providing care to some of our most vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, courteous and high quality customer service
- Handle pharmacy accounts receivable, including Medicare, Medicaid and third-party billing
- Perform collections, admissions, and monthly close-out activities
- Work as an effective part of the pharmacy team
- Collaborate with internal and external teams
- Full-time Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the AL State Board of Pharmacy
- Previous practical computer experience required
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous pharmacy technician experience working with insurance
- Able to understand and communicate with customers and co-workers
