Food and Beverage Supervisor

Turf Hotels, Inc. is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at our Staybridge Suites Albany. As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing the daily operation of the Food & Beverage operation and protection of the asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, if needed.
• Assist with supervision, development, motivating and training of team members.
• May be scheduled to setup the managers reception that takes Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Assists with ordering and maintaining relationships with vendors.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitor and assess product quality, service and guest satisfaction, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Compliance of brand and quality assurance standards.
• Assist with conducting food and beverage inventories monthly.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Performs any other duties as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
• At least two years of food and beverage experience is preferred
• Prior guest service experience in hospitality environment is preferred
• Ability to interpret and perform intermediate computer functions.
