The Inn at Gristmill Square in Warm Springs, VA is looking for housekeeping staff to join our team. Our ideal candidate is honest, neat, reliable and punctual, and has a great attention to detail.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver breakfast to inn guests in the morning
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms
- Change bed linens, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, etc.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated area
- Wash and polish dishes
- Maintain health and sanitary requirements
- Other duties as required/assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
We are looking forward to reading your application. The position starts at $15.00 per hour plus tips. We seek someone to work 4-5 days a week, and a part-time person who can fill in 2-3 days a week. Hours are from around 7am-3pm. Weekends and holidays required as business demands. This is a tipped position with greater income potential than just the hourly rate.
