Administration Manager
A new opportunity available at Turn Bull Lumber (TBLC) in Elizabethtown, NC for an Administration Manager reporting to the CEO and responsible for overseeing all administrative functions. The position would include managing office staff, budgets, policies, and procedures so that the company and the office run smoothly and efficiently. A critical aspect of this position is to ensure accurate communication and information (data) between accounting, lumber, log, and payroll systems and to maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Will be responsible for all IT functions (outsourced) to ensure no downtime, all HR functions (some functions outsourced) including onboarding and offboarding, file administration, and liaison with benefits broker. Other major responsibilities include mastery and understanding each office position to serve as back-up when necessary. Will oversee and administer all business insurance processes for audits, securing multiple quotes, and negotiating terms and administering leases and contracts for various operations. Will also oversee facilities management, maintenance, and supply management. A key responsibility is participation and oversight for monthly inventory reconciliation which must be timely and accurate.
Turn Bull Lumber is looking for a manager who has experience with small teams and understands and executes positive interactions to ensure the core values and culture are embraced. Must have a bachelors degree in business administration or related field, 8 to 10 years managing an operation in a small manufacturing company where inventory is critical to the success of the business. Must be an effective communicator, organized and efficient, able to multi-task, be able to manage complex details, an effective problem-solver and have strong communication skills. Must be confident to know when additional information is needed, to reach out to appropriate resources and ensure quality and compliance are key in administering all tasks and functions.
