Company Description:

Turn Cycle Solutions is a Nashua, N.H.-based construction firm that provides general contracting and weatherization services, as well as residential and commercial dumpster rentals.

Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • In-person work environment

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of QuickBooks Online is required. 7-10 years of QuickBooks experience is preferred.
  • QuickBooks Online certification preferred but not required.
  • 1099 Preparation and experience assisting with workers compensation insurance audits is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office is preferred, specifically Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Prior HR and payroll experience is a plus.
  • Enter all credit card receipts daily per company SOP, cross-referencing each expense to the appropriate project’s budget in CoConstruct.
  • Reconcile the company’s credit card statement by the 15th of every month.
  • Make remote check deposits using the bank scanner as needed.
  • Serve as a Capital One account manager, processing payments, helping manage employees’ limits, order new credit cards, and cancel existing credit cards as needed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all new hires, assembling new hire packets, reviewing paperwork with new employees, and scanning and storing completed files electronically.
  • Complete all relevant tasks on the company’s new hire and termination checklists.
  • Manage Home Depot Pro Rewards account, adding all new employee credit cards to the company account.
  • Assist with termination paperwork and any possible unemployment documentation needed.
  • Handle all client invoicing for all NHSaves weatherization installs.
  • Handle all utility invoicing for all NHSaves weatherization installs.
  • Monitor the business checking account weekly for utility payments and mark the payments as received in NHSaves’ system.
  • Run the accounts receivable report weekly and follow up with customers on overdue invoices.
  • Serve as the benefits insurance administrator, processing new enrollments and terminations as needed.
  • Assist new employees with basic questions regarding the company’s 401(k) plan.
  • Provide backup for answering phones when the department coordinators are out of office or on the phone.
  • Provide backup for reviewing and approving all punches in weekly time sheets for accuracy.
  • Provide accounts payable backup as needed, including entering bills and paying bills.
  • Manage all subcontractor documentation, ensuring that we have current Certificates of Insurance, Subcontractor Agreements, and W-9s on file.
  • Keep all files organized electronically per company procedure.
  • Receive all mail and distribute appropriately.
  • File annual reporting with the State of NH.
  • Assist with employee open enrollment and renewals as guided by the CFO.
  • Prepare all 1099s for subcontractors every January using Tax 1099 for the CFO’s review.
  • Compile all of the subcontractors’ certificates of insurance required for the company’s annual workers’ compensation insurance audit.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, keep up in a fast-paced work environment, take initiative, and effectively solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit proficiency in all written and verbal communication methods, including phone, text, email, and customer management tools.
  • Assist with all other relevant duties as needed.
