We are IMMEDIATELY seeking a Full-Time Infant Teacher to join our organization! This is an established classroom and we would love to see a strong, dedicated teacher with leadership skills.
Who We Are:
We are a licensed facility that provides care for children from birth through 5 years. We have been in business in central Columbia for 30 years! We started as a single classroom with a vision to provide low-cost quality educational experiences to families in Columbia. Our program has grown through the years but we remain dedicated to our mission. We are currently looking for teachers for our Infant and Preschool classrooms.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct infant-aged children (birth - 14 months) in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress through observations, checklists, and conferences.
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the entire Turn the Page family.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- 3-9 hours of ECE college credit - (Can help with this)
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with families and children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to maintain a classroom, communications, and paperwork
- The ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

BEFORE hire we will require:
- Background screening with DESE/OoC
- Fingerprinting with MSHP
AFTER Hire, we require the following:
- physical (within 30 days of employment)
- TB test and TB risk assessment filled out (within 30 days of employment)
- Food Handler's Card
- First Aid & CPR
- 18 hours of CE clock hours per year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
