Summary of Description:

Strong Electrical and Instrumentation knowledge.

Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

Specific Skills:

• MS Excel training and knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of field construction and plant activities,
• Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Problem recognition and problem resolution skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Ability to walk on even and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to wear PPE including fire retardant clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, respirator.
• Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year.
• Ability to work in protective clothing which may elevate body temperatures by several degrees Fahrenheit for periods of up to 15 minutes without a break.
• Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted.
• Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection.
• Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear.
• Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Turnaround Instrumentation and Electrical Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed Instrumentation and Electrical turnaround work plans and timelines.
• Work closely with the maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure all tasks are planned effectively and efficiently thru field and computer-based planning.
• Review and ensure accuracy of Instrumentation and Electrical equipment data, ensuring that spare parts, work groups, and tools are identified and available prior to work execution.
• Coordinate with Turn 2 operations and customer to ensure the safe execution of turnaround activities, managing constraints such as resources, safety, and timelines.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure all turnaround activities comply with safety, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Instrumentation and Electrical Planner or in a similar role, specifically in turnarounds or plant maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and with various stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions quickly.
• Familiarity with turnaround safety and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Instrumentation and Electrical activities and be able to plan or work with I/E personnel to complete the job plan.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar industry (e.g., oil & gas, manufacturing, utilities).

• 10 Hour Shift
• 7 Day Per Diem
• Company Truck (Must have good MVR)
