Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive case management support throughout all phases of litigation.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery.
- Conduct legal research, summarize medical records, and prepare case-related documents.
- Draft correspondence, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Maintain case files, track deadlines, and coordinate filings in both state and federal courts.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather and organize key case information.
- Track and enter billable hours in accordance with firm policies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury or medical malpractice.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and legal documents.
- E-filing, cite checking experience.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
