Job description
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Tysons Corner, VA
Fullt Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $75,000 per year
Our client, a large financial services firm, is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing accounting department. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year university and 2 years of accounting experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Journal entries
- Tax assistance and compliance
- Month-end close assistance
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university (required)
- 1-4 years of accounting experience
Salary : $75,000
