The Opportunity
The Center Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of Turn90’s program and workforce training in Spartanburg. This position oversees staff supervision, program quality, intake, job placement, aftercare, and community engagement while ensuring operational and financial efficiency. The Center Director must be hands-on, capable of stepping into any role as needed—particularly in program support. This role requires a strong leader with experience growing and developing a team, a quality control mindset, and the ability to develop employer partnerships for participant job placements.
What You’ll Do
HR & Staff Development
- Supervise, train, and support all Spartanburg Center staff, ensuring professional growth and accountability.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support staff in delivering high-quality services.
- Step in as backup for any position, particularly in program facilitation, case management, and workforce training.
Program Quality & Oversight
- Maintain high standards for classroom facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and workforce training.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure program fidelity and participant success.
- Manage program data, tracking participant progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits.
Intake & Onboarding
- Screen potential participants, conduct assessments, and determine eligibility for Turn90.
- Facilitate weekly orientation sessions for new trainees, ensuring a strong program start.
- Transition new participants to the Program Manager for ongoing case management.
Job Placement & Exit Support
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers and business partners to create job opportunities for graduates.
- Facilitate job placement, ensuring a seamless transition from Turn90 to full-time employment.
- Support participants in resume building, interview prep, and employment readiness.
Aftercare & Long-Term Support
- Manage aftercare services, ensuring continued support for graduates post-program.
- Maintain engagement with alumni, tracking long-term success and offering resources when needed.
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Build relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community stakeholders to support Turn90’s mission.
- Represent Turn90 at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Lead tours for donors, partners, and visitors to showcase Turn90’s impact.
Budget & Operations Management
- Oversee program and supply budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Manage payroll processing for trainees and maintain compliance with HR and labor regulations.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs as needed.

- Proven ability to supervise teams and ensure program quality.
- Strong relationship-building skills with businesses and community partners.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Tech-savvy with strong computer skills (or willingness to learn).
- Valid SC driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
