Contract to Hire role (REMOTE)

This OSI PI Subject Matter Expert (SME) will specialize in the OSIsoft PI System, a data infrastructure for managing real-time data and events. This role will involve:
Implementation Management
System Architecture: Designing and implementing highly reliable and large-scale PI systems, including high availability (HA) collectives and federated designs.
Installation and Configuration: Installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces.
Data Integration: Working with various data sources such as PLCs, DCS-based control systems, and building or energy management systems to integrate data into the PI System.
Analytics and Visualization: Implementing analytic solutions using PI Asset Framework (AF), PI ACE, PI Notifications, and Performance Equations. They also tailor client software like PI Vision, ProcessBook, and DataLink for data visualization.
System Administration: Managing PI System administration tasks, including tag creation, server administration, security setup, and network troubleshooting.
Technical Expertise: Possessing strong technical knowledge in areas such as SQL, Oracle databases,VB.net, C# and network security.
Overall, an OSI PI SME ensures the efficient and effective use of the PI System to support data-driven decision-making processes within an organization.
We are looking for a profile with at least 5-10 years of experience in implementing the OSISoft PI Solution. Experienced with:
PI DataArchive, PI Asset Framework, PI Analytics, PI EventFrame, PI Vision, (SQL knowledge & ASPENTECH IP21 familiarity will also be appreciated).
Implementation experience with 1 or more of above OSI PI software is important.
