You have excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and you work well in a team environment. In addition, you should have a strong technical background with a solid understanding of supporting varying technologies, including hardware, software, and networking systems. Finally, you are local to Denver and can work out of our office in downtown Denver when required.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following items:
- Ability to manage all aspects of the networking platform.
- Maintain all On-Premise & Data Center servers and network hardware, with prior experience in Data Centers.
- Data Center server and network hardware installation and administration, including Aruba switches and Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Oversee and address alerts related to network and server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network and system issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on systems.
- Deploying and maintaining systems following Security Best Practices.
- Document all technical procedures and user guides.
- Handle various projects to support and improve the organization's network, systems, and monitoring.
- Assist in escalation for support, enter information in our ticketing system, and document all of your work.
- Assist with office management duties as necessary.
- Assist with helpdesk functions such as deploying & supporting equipment for a team of employees who are across multiple time zones as necessary.
You have the following technical skills:
- Previous experience as a network or systems administrator.
- 5 years of relevant experience in an advanced server/networking/infrastructure role or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of applicable experience.
- Windows OS management skills, including Windows desktop and server, ADDS, GPO, File Server permissions and organization, Powershell, etc.
- Proficiency in networking concepts and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and NAT, as well as experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls.
- Ability to administer Data Center hardware, firewall, switches, hosts, re-racking, etc.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, testing, and verification.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experience with various security tools and concepts, such as anti-virus, phishing, phishing prevention, spam filtering, and firewalls.

- A desire to impart knowledge to others, preferably with training experience in a small group.
Bonus if you have:
- Working knowledge of IIS configuration.
- Experience with SSL deployment.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience with Desired State Configuration tools such as Ansible or similar.
- Experience, interest, or the desire to learn *NIX administration.
- Experience managing VPCS and IAM.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, Cloud Compute).
- Experience managing Google Workspace.
- Palo Alto Net-Generation Firewall Engineer, Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNA, or other comparable certifications.
Logistics
Candidates should additionally be prepared to provide references upon request. Candidates should be prepared and willing to take a technical test. This position has been categorized as a 75% Remote position. As a Systems Administrator, you must be located in the Denver Metro area and be able to work on-site at both the Office and the local Data Center when necessary to carry out specific job functions. You must also have the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
