Turner Furniture is seeking positive, professional, friendly, and an energetic sales and design consultant who will assist and guide clients. Showing a variety of furniture and accessories needed to complete a room or furnish an entire home. Design consultant duties and responsibilities include working closely with clients to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. To be successful as a design consultant, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a design consultant are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Our Furniture design consultants are up-to-date on the latest fashions and trends. Check out our convenient store hours 10:00-6:00 PM Monday thru Saturday and 11:00-4:00 PM on Sunday. Team members enjoy our compensation plan that pays and bonuses on written business not delivered ! Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess clients needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome clients to the store and answer their queries
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Actively seek out clients in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Skills
- Proven record and experience in the home furnishing industry.
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
