Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of products to our customers while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The workweek will be Tuesday through Saturday. The hours will be 9am-6pm.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and route deliveries to ensure timely and accurate arrival
- Monitor delivery routes and track completed deliveries using company systems
- Provide top-tier customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Identify errors or inconsistencies in orders and delivery instructions; take corrective action as needed
- Interpret and follow instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless delivery operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, discrepancies, and customer interactions
- Assist with preparation and review of delivery reports using MS Excel and other tools
- Apply critical thinking and attention to detail to resolve delivery-related issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies or errors
- Experience in logistics, routing, or delivery operations is a plus
