As a growing company, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team and help ensure the smooth execution of projects for the Glastonbury location.
The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in the success of our projects by managing communication between Project Managers, Estimators, and Customers. You will take ownership of the project schedule for each of our service lines, ensuring that all deadlines are met, materials are received, and permits are secured for the Glastonbury location. This role requires a proactive approach to reviewing project needs, monitoring progress, and maintaining clear lines of communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Scheduling: Create the project schedule for roofing, siding, windows/doors, decks, gutters, and other exterior carpentry. Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to keep timelines on track.
· Permitting: Oversee the permitting process for each project, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and approved by local municipalities before project commencement. Schedule any pre and post inspections as needed.
· Material Management: Check-in materials from manufacturers upon arrival, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
· Customer Communication: Contact clients to confirm and adjust project schedules, ensuring they are informed and updated at every step of the process.
· Project Oversight: Assist in reviewing project paperwork to ensure everything is in order before and during project execution.
· Team Collaboration: Act as the communication hub between Project Managers, Estimators, and the Client, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
· Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients.
· Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
· Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous review of project requirements, materials, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
· Experience in Home Improvement or Construction is a plus.
· Familiarity with Permitting Processes is preferred.
