Position Overview:
The Senior Surveying Team Lead will play a key role in the success of Turner Mining Group, overseeing the collection and processing of data for construction projects. This includes preparing and reviewing data for field crews, providing work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and material installation, and conducting topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and payment quantities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the surveying team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed, including assistance with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software tools.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure that all project requirements are met, including preparation of bid documents and estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and communication.
Requirements:
• A minimum of five years of experience in surveying and construction management, with a focus on leadership and team management.
• Strong understanding of geomatics principles and surveying practices, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business purposes, including working outside in various weather conditions.
