Job Overview
As a Yard Truck and City Driver at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This includes operating a Yard Truck/ to transport trailers safely to designated locations, as well as driving a tractor trailer delivering trailer loads of merchandise to stores.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, including load-related paperwork, electronic logs and forms. Safety, accuracy and attention to detail are essential skills for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a valid state-issued driver's license and be able to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
