Tier 1 IT Support Specialist
We're searching for a dedicated individual with a passion for IT, strong organizational skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a supportive team environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team of IT Professionals, specializing in providing managed IT services to small and medium-sized businesses. As a Tier 1 IT Support Specialist, you'll be involved in problem-solving, and supporting our clients with their IT needs all while learning new skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day tickets, assigned projects, and additional responsibilities as required.
- Provide support to end-users in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software issues.
- Work collaboratively within the IT department and with other teams.
- Assist supporting Microsoft 365 and Office 365.
- Gain familiarity with administering various Firewalls, Switches, and Wireless Access Points, along with basic Cyber Security knowledge.
- Learn to manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of hardware/software instances, repairs, installations, and removals.
- Ensure timely and efficient customer care, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements:
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft networks.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field).
- Some experience or training in IT support (Preferred: 1 year in help desk or Windows environment).
- Willingness to learn and obtain relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
